The mission of the Big Blue Club is to bring together the university and those individuals who believe in promoting and supporting intercollegiate athletics and Millikin student-athletes.
The club functions cooperatively with the athletic department and the Alumni and Development Office in promoting Millikin athletics and fostering fundraising efforts to support the athletic program.
Membership
Anyone interested in Millikin athletics is invited to join the Big Blue Club. Activities are coordinated by an advisory board of Big Blue Club members and Millikin staff.

Participation is offered at a variety of levels, and new Millikin graduates are invited to join the club at the level of $10 per year for the first five years following graduation.
For example, first-year graduates are invited to participate for a $10 contribution, second-year graduates - Millikin alumni of two years - may participate for a contribution of $20, etc.

Big Blue Benefits
Big Blue Club members regularly receive The BluePrint, a newsletter with inside news about the athletic teams, as well as invitations to a variety of group activities, including a Big Blue Club meeting/reception at homecoming.
Additionally, participants will be invited to special events held in conjunction with appearances by Big Blue athletic teams in cities and venues throughout the country.
Where your money goes
The Big Blue Club was created to benefit Millikin student-athletes in 17 intercollegiate sports and two related activities.
Gifts to the Big Blue Club provide additional support above the university's athletic budget, fund the club's administrative costs and underwrite special projects which might otherwise go unfunded.
Over the years, some of the special items the club has provided include:
- scorers table for Griswold Center
- team bench chairs for Griswold Center
- tarp for softball field
- track mats
- CCIW flags

Support our athletes by giving to the Big Blue Club. If you wish to suport a particular sport or team, please note your wishes on your check or in the comment field if you make an online gift.
