MILLIKIN UNIVERSITY DELTA EPSILON CHI MISSION:
Millikin University Collegiate DECA is a unique opportunity focused international business organization where future leaders, campus-wide, can develop personal and professional skills in an innovative environment. Leaders will achieve success through application and practice at the campus, community, and global levels.
WHO DO WE SERVE?
As an organization, we strive to serve Collegiate DECA members, Decatur businesses, Millikin University – all students, faculty, staff, and other student organizations, Decatur community members, and the National DECA organization.
WHAT DO WE PROVIDE?
We provide our members with unique opportunities that are typically not provided by other organizations. These opportunities include, but are not limited to, professional and personal preparation, leadership development, networking opportunities, a participatory, supportive, and safe environment for "think tank" ideas, rewarding community service experience, and value beyond classroom experiences.
In addition, we provide assistance to other student organizations and serve as a business resource. We are here to provide help and support to our fellow peers whenever possible.
HOW DO WE PROVIDE IT?
In order to effectively and successfully provide support to our members and stake holders, we attend and host many different types of events. These events include attending competitions and conferences, hosting strategic fund-raising and member recruitment events, engaging in networking opportunities, incorporate faculty as resources to provide guidance, feedback, and assistance, encouraging students from all areas of study to be involved, and more.
