IN 110: Strategies
for Academic Success
Successfully meeting
academic standards at the university level can be challenging even
for students who have been successful in the past. When a student
is placed on academic probation for the first time, they are automatically
enrolled in IN 110, Strategies for Academic Success. This is a one-credit
pass/fail course designed to identify issues the student needs to
address in order to improve academic performance.
IN 110 students meet with the Academic Development advising team
for one-on-one developmental appointments. They also attend educational
seminars designed to enhance their ability to succeed at Millikin.
Communication is established with advisors and others who will support
them in their quest to improve their grade point average.
