Communication News:
Sarah Reed, Senior Communication Major and James Millikin Scholar, earned an award for "Top Poster" in the Undergraduate Research Honors Conference Poster Symposium at the Central States Communication Association Conference. She was one of only three undergraduates who earned the honor at the conference.
Reed's poster, titled "Analysis of Crisis Communication During the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill of 2010", is based on her James Millikin Honors research project.
Reed plans to pursue a master's degree at Illinois State University in the School of Communication. She was awarded a teaching assistantship at ISU where she will teach while pursuing her master's degree.
