The Chamber Chorale is an auditioned mixed choir of 60 voices.  The ensemble, initiated by Dr. Forbes, was created for the study, performance, and recording of “gems” from the standard choral repertoire. The Chamber Chorale conducts an eight-day annual tour each January. The Chorale has toured to Florida and Texas, as well as across the Midwest.In 2006 the Chamber Chorale released its first CD, From the Heart.  This recording features exemplar recordings of popular standard choral repertoire and is available through First Step Records. The choir has performed at the Illinois Music Educators Conference and, most recently, at the Central Division Convention of the American Choral Directors Association.
