Research has shown that music skills are not solely inherited. Early experiences in music can have a dramatic impact on a child’s potential to make and understand music. The Music and Movement classes at Millikin provide the types of musical experience that will nurture this potential and will enrich your child’s musical development. The classes consist of playful traditional folksongs and rhymes that are easily learned by parent and child and can be shared at home. Classes are limited to 10 students to encourage participation and ensure a comfortable atmosphere.
