Women’s Basketball Coach for NCAA Division I Team
As the head coach of a DI school I’ve learned to put others needs before my own. I’m surrounded by people who aspire to be better because they want a better life than what they had. Part of my day consists of watching previously played game tapes, developing ways to better my team, reviewing plays, and watching tapes of upcoming teams. I received my BS in Sports Management at Millikin University and went on to become a graduate assistant for a D1 coach. Being a graduate assistant gave me the opportunity to learn by being in the atmosphere of coaching. Before graduation I was offered the full time assistant coaching job and later became the head coach. Coaching is a full time job and requires great social skills. You have to be able to both teach and learn in the same environment. This job is one I would gladly do for the rest of my life. Listed below is the starting salary and benefits offered with most head coaching jobs at a major university.
