Smith/Orlandini Book Award

The inaugural book award was bestowed on April 12, 2007.  The $500 annual award is for students whose major is within the Department of Exercise Science and Sport and who possess, at a minimum, a 3.0/4.0 grade point average. The award is to be used for the purchase of required academic textbooks.
 
Father Nicholas W. Smith, ’83, of St. Louis, MO, established the award to honor academic achievement of those within the department.  The award is granted at the annual spring Honors Convocation.
