| This site is the official web address of the Edith Wharton Society, and it
provides information about the organization, its activities, and its
membership. It also contains additional information about Wharton,
including bibliographies of recommended works, a table of contents for the
Edith Wharton Review, a comprehensive bibliography of Wharton studies from
1992 to the present, lists of new works on Wharton, a list of Wharton's
works made into films, and links to all of Wharton's works available online
as well as to external sites. The "Teaching Wharton" page provides
information and some discussion questions about Wharton's novels and short
stories. In addition, the "Queries and Replies page provides a space for
researchers to ask questions, and a new Student Queries page provides help
for students writing papers. In addition, the site contains the archives of
Wharton-L, the e-mail discussion list. The site is fully searchable, as are
the Wharton-L archives, and the site is available in a frames and no-frames
