Web Authors: Thomas M. Columbus and The Dunbar Library
URLs: http://www.udayton.edu/~dunbar/ and http://www.libraries.wright.edu/dunbar/
These sites provide a fine introduction to the achievements of Paul Laurence Dunbar. The first site, "Welcome to the Poetry of Paul Laurence Dunbar," contains many images of Dunbar as well as audio files of Dunbar's poetry read by interpreter Herbert Woodward Martin, professor emeritus at the University of Dayton. This site also includes extensive links, including teaching resources, for more information about Dunbar. The Digital Text collection includes over two hundred of Dunbar's poems as well as images of the covers of the three volumes in which they were published.
