Millikin University’s Kiss A Pig Project
As a senior capstone contribution project, an American Diabetes Association fundraiser is coming to Millikin University. The project includes volunteer candidates Political Science Professor Dr. Brian Posler, Alumni Relations Director Jan Devore (pictured above), Director of Student Programs Raphaella Palmer, Athletics Director Lori Kerans and Dean of Students Rich Dunsworth. The candidate who raises the most money for the ADA will kiss a pig (not the pig pictured above but no doubt an amazing lookalike) at the first men's home basketball game on Saturday, Nov. 22.
From Nov. 17-21, students, faculty,
administrators, alumni and friends can participate in "penny
wars" in Shilling Hall in the hopes of helping their favorite
candidate win. Donations may also be dropped off at the Alumni Office.
