Men's alumni soccer game on campus, Saturday, Aug. 28, at
5 p.m. on the south field. Players check-in and begin warming
up at 4 p.m. Following the game, an informal social gathering
will be held at Lock, Stock and Barrel from 7-9 p.m. on the

St. Louis-area alumni
are invited to come out to hear 56 Hope Road
perform at 10 p.m. at the Venice Cafe, 1903 Pestalozzi St. The band features MU
alums Greg Fundis '99, Steve Goveia '99, Dave Hamilton
'96, Anne Hamilton Katzfey '94, Matt Katzfey '96 and Chad
Sanders '99.

FIRE SOCCER TEAM vs. DC UNITED! 7:30 p.m. Join Millikin
alumni and friends to see 15 year old phenom Freddy Adu, when
he and DC United return to Solider Field on Labor Day weekend.
This event was arranged by Millikin Soccer alum, Eric Luchetti '01, who works
for the Fire. Tickets
are $20 each and may be obtained by calling Luchetti at

IT'S BACK TO SCHOOL TIME!
First week for freshmen is Aug. 25-30. While freshmen get
their feet wet, Oakland Avenue will be closed to traffic from
8:15 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 25, for move-in day.

SHAKE-UP, ANYONE?
Millikin made a strong showing at the
Illinois State Fair in Springfield on Friday, Aug. 13. The Millikin
contingent, featuring various MU performers and
representatives from the alumni, student life and admission
offices, welcomed Big Blue alumni and friends and distributed
free water in the special event tent, located just inside Gate 2.
The day was made possible by Josh Jacobs '02, who works for
the state fair and was in charge of the tent.

Former
MU swimmer Paul Kueterman '02 has been named the Big Blue's
head swim coach.
In addition to coaching, Kueterman will also teach in the
