Dec. 17-19: on campus
The Big Blue hosts the Fifth Annual Harriet Crannell Holiday Classic. Crannell was Millikin University’s first women’s basketball coach. The highlight of her 16 years at the Big Blue came during the 1984-85 season when her team earned a third place finish in the NCAA Final Four. That team relied heavily on the play of Lori Kerans '85, the current women's basketball coach. In this year's tourney, Millikin will play Wartburg at 7 p.m. on Friday and The Apprentice School on Sunday at 11 a.m.  

Dec. 19: on campus
Winter Commencement

Dec. 19: Normal, Ill.
Chapter 6, a group of MU alums, will perform at Calvary United 
Methodist Church, 
1700 N. Towanda Ave, at 6 p.m., phone 309-452-5413.
The group will also perform April 11 at Kirkland Fine Arts Center, phone 217-424-6318.

Dec. 29 and 31: 
Cal Tech, Pasadena, Calif.
The men's basketball team play the California Institute of Technology at 4 p.m., Dec. 29. They also play again at the CalTech tourney against Chapman University at 3 p.m., Dec. 31. If you live in the area, come out and support the Big Blue!

Jan. 5: 
Eau Claire, Wis.
The Big Blue women's basketball team will be playing at Zorn Arena at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire at 7 p.m., Jan. 5. 

Jan. 9: 
Busch Stadium, St. Louis
Spread the word! MU will host an open house for high school seniors at Busch Stadium. MORE

Jan. 12: Decatur

More than 150 graduates will take part in Millikin’s winter commencement ceremony on Sunday, Dec. 19, including more than 50 students who will graduate through the university's Professional Adult Comprehensive Education program. MORE
