SHH! IT'S A SECRET....
The Millikin Chamber Percussion Ensemble's first CD, "Best Kept Secret," received a rave review from Gramophone magazine. Here's an excerpt: “The members of the Millikin University Percussion Ensemble ... negotiate the textural intricacies and musical intrigues of every score with impressive control, power and cohesive spirit.” They begin work on a second CD next spring. The group is under the direction of Brian Justison, assistant professor of music. The CD was recorded in Millikin’s own recording studio, Millitrax, and is available through First Step Records.
