championship women's
basketball team as they compete in the Surf 'N Slam Classic. The team will face St. Norbert College
Dec. 28 at 2:15 p.m. (PST) at Point Loma Nazarene University.
An alumni gathering with the team will be held at 7 p.m., Dec. 27,
in the lobby lounge of the Westin Horton Plaza, 910 Broadway
Circle, San Diego. It features free appetizers and will be
followed by a pay-as-you-go dinner. RSVP by Dec. 23 by calling

Bluffton, Ohio - Alumni and friends in the area are
invited to see the men's b-ball team take on Tiffin University
in the Bluffton University Holiday Tournament at 6 p.m. on
Dec. 29 at Founders Hall on the Bluffton campus. The Big Blue
will play at either 1 or 3 p.m. on Dec. 30 depending on that
first game's outcome.

Washington, D.C. - Support the Millikin alum vocal
group Chapter
6 as
they perform in "The 1950s: The
Golden Age of Black and White" with the National Symphony Orchestra
at the Kennedy Center. Millikin alums and friends in the DC
area are encouraged to meet prior to the Jan. 7 performance,
by gathering at 7:30 p.m. at the Kennedy Head statue. Tickets
for the 8 p.m. performance may be purchased at
www.kennedy-center.org

the statue after the show to head out for appetizers and a

Chicago - Join the nationally recognized Millikin
University Choir in Chicago for a 7:30 p.m. performance at Old St. Patrick's
Catholic Church, 700 W. Adams, and stay for the free alumni and

Chicago - The defending women's basketball national
champions will play North Central at 2 p.m. The men's
basketball team will also be playing North Central at 7:30 pm.
Join us between the games from 4:30-6:30 p.m. for dinner at
The Lodge at Four Lakes Village and a chance to meet the
women's team and celebrate their 2005 national championship.

BIZ TEAM RANKS FIRST IN NATION.
A group of MU students
finished a business simulation ranked number one in the nation
in a competition that pitted their business skills against 986

Fifteen Millikin students are giving up a week of their winter
break to assist in disaster relief
for the Gulf Coast in Moss Point, Miss., in early January. The trip is
part of Millikin's BreakAway program, a group that serves

MUSIC EXCITES AIRWAVES.
As a
part of their final class project for the music course,
"African Music in the Americas," several
students gave radio broadcasts of their research accompanied
by traditional African music. The programs aired in early December on the campus radio station, WJMU-FM 89.5.
