Senior musical theatre students perform in a showcase at the York Theatre Company, located in Citigroup Center, 619 Lexington Ave. (54th Street). 
At 9 p.m. following the showcase, alumni, friends, faculty and students are invited to

, 8 p.m., Kirkland Fine Arts Center,  features guest lecturer Dr. Bob Arnot. 

April 9: on campus
Hollis Prize Competition, 7:30 p.m., Kaeuper Hall, free and open to the public. The prize is made possible through a gift by Dr. C. Kimm Hollis '72, department chair and professor of music at Hanover College. The recipient receives a substantial cash award and the opportunity to perform a recital at the Harold Washington Library Auditorium in Chicago, Friday, April 22 at 12:15 pm. April 22: Decatur/Chicago
Alumni & friends bus trip to the
Hollis Prize Recital (see April 9 listing) and the Jackie O exhibit at the Field Museum. The bus leaves campus at 8 a.m. and will return around midnight. Cost is $75 per person. Jason Mraz doesn't. The singer/songwriter of the Top 40 hit “The Remedy (I Won’t Worry)” will perform in Kirkland Fine Arts Center at 8 p.m., Friday, March 11. Students shouldn't worry either: They each get one free ticket to the concert.
