WE
HAVE A NEW LOOK!
Thanks to University
Webmaster Matt Braden, a 2002 alum, the entire Millikin
website has a new look, including the alumni and friends
pages. Take a peek! And please bear with us as we do some
housecleaning on the site (in other words, some links may be
temporarily not working and we're still changing others). Have
ideas of things you'd like added or changed on the alumni
& friends web pages? Send us an e-mail.

NEW
CLUB, NEW NAME
It's only a few months
old, but it's already branching out: The alumni steering
committee that formed the new Millikin Club of Decatur has
decided that a more accurate name would be the Millikin Club of
Central Illinois for this regional club for alumni. Next up:
planning future events for members. Want to help?

Devore, director of alumni relations, by e-mail or at 1-877-JMU-ALUM.
cardinal
fans: BUY a seat
in support of Millikin.
Buy a chance at
winning two seats from historic Busch
Stadium, and you'll be helping a Millikin student from the
St. Louis area with his or her education. Purchase a chance
for $20 -- or pay $25 for two chances -- and you could win two
joined seats from the stadium. The stadium will be
demolished soon to make way for a new stadium going up next
door, and the drawing will be held Nov. 1. All proceeds from
the raffle benefit Millikin's Gateway Award, which is
presented to a deserving student from the St. Louis area each
year. Contact Jan Devore,
director of alumni relations, by e-mail or at
1-877-JMU-ALUM.
THIS
IS NOT A TRIVIAL THING.
Well, actually it is. It's our monthly trivia contest. How
well do you know your Millikin facts? Let's find out how many
of you had time to venture off campus during your Millikin days...
This Millikin hangout has existed in the same location near
campus for more than 25 years now and was packed full of alums
during Homecoming, including members of the class of 2000, who
celebrated their class reunion on its fairly new patio. Hint:
One of the owners, Kathy Farleigh Gresham '70, is a Millikin alum. What is it?
A.
The Winery
B. LSB (Lock, Stock & Barrel)
C. Ralph's
D. The Blue Mill
