Outstanding students and faculty members will be honored at the 2006 Honors Convocation program on Thursday, April 20, at 7 p.m. in Kirkland Fine Arts Center. Professor Rick Bibb, associate professor of marketing and a Millikin faculty member since 1982, will present the annual Distinguished Faculty Lecture at the Convocation. MORE

MU STUDENTS TEAM UP WITH MEXICAN STUDENTS TO COMPLETE RESEARCH
FOR FORTUNE 100 COMPANY.

A group of 10 Millikin students and seven students from Escuela Bancaria Y Comercial (EBC) in Mexico City recently presented the results of their joint research project to officials of Archer Daniels Midland Company. The project took two semesters to complete and focused on Mexican health and nutrition trends. MORE

AND THE AWARD GOES TO...
Senior Michael Fenoglio of Chatham, Ill., a commercial music major, was selected as the winner of the 2006 Hollis Prize, an award made possible through a gift from Dr. C. Kimm Hollis ’72. Fenoglio will perform a free recital at the Harold Washington Library Center Auditorium on Friday, April 21, at 12:15 p.m. The library, which is the Chicago Public Library’s central library, is located at 400 S. State Street. MORE

XP = GREAT WAY TO STAY IN TOUCH.
Milli-Link XPHave you logged in yet? Information about Milli-Link XP, an enhanced version of the Milli-Link alumni e-mail directory, was sent to alumni in March. Inside was helpful information about how to log in and use the new directory's features. "It's a great way to stay in touch with your college friends and former classmates," says Jan Devore, Millikin's alumni relations director. To encourage all alumni to check out the directory's exciting and helpful features, a drawing will be held April 30 and one of the first 400 alumni to log on to Milli-Link XP will receive a free iPod!

That's what the archivists at Staley Library will say if you help them identify some of the thousands of unmarked photos in their files. To start, view 10 photos here. If you can help identify any of them, simply click on the link below it to send an e-mail to Todd the archival associate with your information. Be sure to include the photo number in your e-mail. As photos are identified and verified, they will be replaced with new ones, so you'll want to check the site often.

DISCOVERY INDIA AND ITALY.
Two immersion travel courses are offered as discovery courses for alumni and friends. Choose to discover Calcutta, India, a three-week adventure that begins May 19. Destinations include New Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Calcutta, Santiniketan and Darjeeling. Looking for something musical? CENTRAL ILLINOIS ALUMS: WANT TO GET TOGETHER FOR GOLF OR BRIDGE?
Are you an avid golfer? Interested in joining a book club? Looking for a bridge partner? Millikin CIA (Central Illinois Alumni) is forming special interest groups for alumni and friends in the central Illinois area. We are currently looking for individuals interested in playing golf in Decatur on a regular basis or those who are interested in joining an alumni book club. Starting June 9, come play bridge at the alumni and development center the second and fourth Fridays of the the month from 12:30-3:30 p.m. If interested or for more information on any of these special interest groups, e-mail alumnews@millikin.edu.
