It's an all alumni skating event at Steinberg Ice Skating Rink in Forest Park, just off Kingshighway Blvd. Come anytime between 6:30 p.m. to midnight and look for the Millikin sign. TWO ALUMNI JOIN MILLIKIN BOARD.
Two California businessmen, both Millikin alumni, are the newest members of the Millikin board of trustees. Consultant Donald F. McIntyre of Pasadena, Calif., a 1952 graduate, retired as city manager for Pasadena, Calif., before opening an urban affairs consulting business. Retired business executive Lauren “Skip” Shaw of Los Osos, Calif., a 1967 graduate, was founder, chairman and CEO of Peerless Systems until his 1996 retirement. The company is a software and chip technology provider for printers, copiers and fax machines.
NOTHING BUT 'NET... CONFERENCE
WILL BROADCAST JAN. 24 WBB GAME
The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin, in
conjunction with Penn Atlantic, will stream the Big Blue women's home match up against Wheaton College on Jan. 24. The game will be aired with full audio and video and streamed free of charge through the CCIW website at www.cciw.org. The Big Blue, defending NCAA champion, will tip off against first place ranked Wheaton at 7:30 p.m. Audio stream will be provided by WHOW 1520 in Clinton, Ill. The station is Decatur's ESPN radio outlet WHOW-FM and goes by ESPN Radio 95.9 FM. Penn Atlantic is a Charleston, South Carolina-based communications and media company.
