Tabor School of Business faculty named two sophomore management information systems majors as the winners of the inaugural State Farm Companies Foundation Award. The award is based on merit, and is the first of five annual awards funded by the foundation to honor Millikin's best and brightest computer systems students. Several Millikin alumni hosted 25 Millikin students at a get-to-know-State Farm event in April. The students were given a guided tour of the company's Corporate South campus, treated to lunch in the corporte food court, and enjoyed a panel discussion with alumni who shared insights into their careers with the company, as well as tips for successful interviewing and resume building.
