Penny Wars 2004
Organized
and run by Matt Sturgeon '05, the penny wars project was a competitive fundraiser between each
of the four classes held in late November. The project was designed to
raise awareness
about the Millikin Fund among current students, and all money raised went to the fund on behalf of the
winning class (the seniors).
"The first annual Penny Wars Project was truly a success!
We accomplished our initial goal, promoting
awareness and education for the Millikin Fund. It is of great importance for the
undergraduates of today to contribute back to the University that encouraged
such growth and excellence."

Rules Of
Engagement
The purpose of the contest was not to see which class collected the most pennies. Each penny earned the class positive points,
but silver change took away points.
Spoils Of War
