“Shark Loves the Amazon,” a 60-minute film documentary about the struggles of South America’s Amazon region, will be presented by the film’s producer in Albert Taylor Theatre on Millikin’s campus on Monday, March 4, at 7:30 p.m. This event is free and open to the public, no tickets required.

Film writer and producer Mark London, an attorney who has also coauthored two books about the Amazon, developed the film after three decades of extensive travels in the region. London says his film offers a “provocative alternative” on the issue of rapid deforestation in an area containing “Earth’s last great forest and its unparalleled concentration of biodiversity.” London will be answering questions from the audience after the film.

This event is the 2013 James W. Moore Lecture.
