Plan now to help celebrate 50 years of jazz at Millikin on Saturday, April 13, 2013. Alumni who have participated in MU's jazz program are invited to the celebration, which begins with lunch at noon, followed by a Jazz Band rehearsal (for those still actively playing) from 1:30-3:30 p.m., and a commemorative concert at 7:30 p.m. at Westminster Presbyterian Church. The concert will feature One Voice, Jazz Band I and alumni jazz band members. Then cap off the evening with a reception at the alumni & development center.
