Forrest Lee "Skip" Ziegler, 70, of Decatur, IL passed away at 9:45 A.M. on Monday, Aug. 29, 2011 in St. Joseph Hospital, Tampa, Florida with his wife and family by his side.
Skip was born on June 10, 1941 in Tuscola, IL, the son of Forrest W. and Marie (Cozad) Ziegler. He graduated from Millikin University with a Bachelor of Science degree and was retired from Caterpillar Tractor Co., where he worked as an accountant.
Skip married Mary Mesnard, Sept. 29, 1963. He was a member of Central Christian Church in Decatur and was a member of the Masonic Macon Lodge #8.
He is survived by his wife of forty-seven years, Mary, of Decatur; sons: Christopher N. Ziegler and his wife Teresa of Decatur, Stephen L. Ziegler and his wife Natalie of Decatur and one grandson; Jacob M. Ziegler of Decatur. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and one brother.
Memorials may be made to the American Kidney Fund, the American Diabetes Association or the Arthritis Foundation.
