Richard C. "Rick" Plotz of Antioch Richard C. "Rick" Plotz, 57, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, Oct. 2, 2011, at Aurora Medical Center, Kenosha, Wis. He was born Feb. 27, 1954, in Waukegan, Ill., the son of the late Vernie and Beverly (Johnston) Plotz.
Rick was a lifelong resident of Antioch, and graduated with a BS from Millikin University, Decatur, Ill., where he was a member, and past Master of Ceremony, of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity.
Rick went on to own and operate Rick Plotz Inc., Antioch, for many years.
Rick loved snowmobiling, playing baseball, watching sports and his four-legged friends, Tequi and Gracie.
On Nov. 6, 1976, he married Linda White in O'Fallon, Ill. Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Linda; two children, Christina and R.J. Plotz, both of Antioch; siblings, Vicki (Todd) Stenstrom of Hampshire, Ill., Cindy (Peter) McBrady of Lindenhurst, Ill., and Kim Martin of Antioch, Ill.; father-in-law, Jack (the late Virginia) White of O'Fallon; and many other relatives and friends.
