Christopher R. Short, 59, of Evanston, died May 31, 2011.

Mr. Short was a teacher for 34 years, the last 21 at Evanston/Skokie Dist 65. He was also an accomplished songwriter and worship leader.

He was the husband of Cindy Winter for 35 years; father of Charlie (Amanda Bruscino), Cletus (Heather), Chelsea (Malvin) Pambuka and Cece Short; son of Doris (the late Edward) Short; brother of Tim (Nancy), Mike (Donna), and Rich Short and Mary Louise (Carlos) Guerrero; as well as many nieces and nephews.
