Albert Calvin Harrison, age 82, died Feb. 10, 2011, in VA, surrounded by family. Born 3-3-1928, son of Bertha and Cecil Fern Harrison, he lived in Decatur for many years. A U.S. Army veteran, he was a Material Manager for NASA projects with Motorola.

Devoted husband of 60 years to his wife, Daisy, his loving care for her on her journey with Alzheimer’s Disease inspired all who met them. No one was ever a stranger to Al.

He is survived by his wife, Daisy; daughters Linda Harrison Long; Lisa Delaney and husband, Danny Will; son David Harrison; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; extended family in Illinois; and his life-long friend Archie Beals, Jr.
