
Marilyn M. Foster, 80, of rural Tuscola, Ill., passed away suddenly at 9:58 p.m., Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, at the Presence Covenant Medical Center in Urbana, Ill.
Marilyn was born July 19, 1932, in Tuscola, the daughter of Dr. Roy and Anna Smith Palmer. She married Harry E. Foster June 22, 1956. He survives.
Other survivors include her sons: Jim (Debbie) Foster, Dave (Barb) Foster and Eric (Karen) Foster all of Tuscola; 7 grandchildren: Kenny Foster, Christopher Foster, JW Foster, Katie Lisanby, Brittney Bollinger, Jamie Foster and Sam Foster; 13 great-grandchildren; brother: Duane (Donna) Palmer of El Cajon, Calif.; 2 nieces; and 1 nephew.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Marilyn was a homemaker and member of the Cartwright United Methodist Church. She enjoyed attending rodeos, and she loved animals and her family very much. Marilyn was an avid Illini sports fan and Chicago Bears fan. She was a 1954 graduate of Millikin.
