ELK GROVE VILLAGE – Susan L. White, of Elk Grove Village, peacefully passed away Sunday, June 2, 2013, after a courageous 12-year battle with cancer.
She was born July 7, 1955, in Evanston, to James (deceased) and Beverly White.
Sue is survived by her sister, Lynda (Lawrence) Dellheim; niece, Laurel (Robert) Walthers; nephews, Micheal and Edward Dellheim; great-niece, Nettie Dellheim; and great-nephews, Benjamin Dellheim and Lucas and Camden Walther.
She remained close to many longtime friends from childhood and Millikin University.
She was a lover of music, good food and good company. After leaving the office supply industry, she was able to fulfill some lifelong ambitions as a caseworker for adults with developmental disabilities and the elderly.
Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society
, earmarked for ovarian cancer research. Sue wanted her body donated to science with no memorial.
