Janice Sue (Lueder) Jones '71 of Kenosha, Wisconsin passed from this life into the next on Wednesday, January 19, 2011.
Jan was born August 10, 1949, to Dorothy and Walter Lueder of Chicago Heights, Illinois. She was a 1967 graduate of Bloom Township High School and attended Millikin University and Richland Community College. She worked as a manager of a clothing store, a clerk at a distribution center, and an office manager in Decatur, and most recently, as a home healthcare aide in Kenosha. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and baking.
She is survived by her elder son Bruce Jones , his wife Melinda and their children Bryan, Breven and Laura; her younger son Jason Jones , his wife Holly and their children Brandon and Jacob; her sister Pam Zener, her husband Frank and their children Nicholas (Ketia) and Ryan Zener; her brother Tom Lueder, his wife Beverlee, and his children Chad (Merrilee) and Adam Lueder; her twin sister Joyce Lueder; and her brother Daniel Lueder, his wife Roberta and their children Zachary (Lindsey) Lueder and Danielle (Danny) Hale. She is also survived by greatnieces/nephews, aunts, cousins, and many friends in Chicago Heights, Decatur, and Kenosha.
Janice was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Dorothy Lueder, and her mother-in-law, Ann Jones .
Jan will live on in our hearts and memories as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, relative, friend, caregiver, and best darn apple pie and German potato salad maker.
