Brent Harvey Stanger

Brent Harvey Stanger of Mt. Auburn went home to the Lord at 1:27am April 16, 2012. Brent was born September 27, 1952 in Miami, OK. He was the son of Everett Lee and Christina Mae Harvey Stanger. He was a member of the Seneca/Cayuga Tribe of Oklahoma. Brent was a 1970 graduate of Mt. Auburn High School, where he excelled in athletics. He was employed for 23 years at Air Float in Decatur. He was a member of the Creek Hill Family Church. He is survived by his wife of 14 years Carol Laswell Stanger of the home. He leaves behind also one sister, Hazel L. Prewitt of Quapaw, OK, three brothers, Chris Lee Stanger, Curtis Austin Stanger, and Alex Craig Stanger, all of Wyandotte, OK. Step-children: Tom Alexander, Shelby Alexander Tackaberry and five grandchildren all of Mt. Auburn. He will be missed by those he leaves behind, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins, and many, many friends and coworkers. He was preceded in death by his parents.
