Cerro Gordo, Ill

Daisy Irene Harrison, 83, of Fredericksburg, formerly of Decatur, died July 6, 2012.

Daisy was born March 12, 1929, in Willoughby, Ohio, the daughter of Ray and Blanche Isaacs. She graduated Cerro Gordo High School, attended Millikin University for two years and graduated from Arizona State University, Phoenix. She taught for the Phoenix school system for 30 years. She married Albert C. Harrison on Oct. 15, 1950, in Decatur.

Surviving are her son, David; daughters, Linda; Lisa; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and one brother.
