Robert W. Hopper, 73 of Bolingbrook, IL formerly of Decatur, IL passed away 10:00 P.M. October 15, 2012 at HCR Manor Care Health Services, Naperville, IL.

Robert was born August 13, 1939 in Decatur, IL the son of Von N. and Mary June (Cramer) Hopper. Robert was a U.S. Airforce veteran. He had worked for Illinois Bell and later worked for Tel Labs. His greatest passion was music.

Robet is survived by his sister: Nancy Armstrong, Brookfield, WI; nephew: Matthew Armstrong, Milwaukee, WI; niece: Margaret Armstrong-Zimelman (Scott), Germantown, WI; great-nephew: August Zimpelman; great-niece: Johannah Zimpelman.

He is preceded in death by his parents.
