Mary Katherine Ferree Prince (Hill), 91, died Wednesday, Jan. 9 in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was born Decatur July 31, 1921, and she was the loving wife of Roswell C. Prince (deceased).

She was a loving mother to Douglas Prince (Julianna), Sally Prince, and Kristin Cool (Ray). She was a loving grandmother to Travis, Justin, Aaron, Adam, Emily, and Alex, and great-grandmother to Henry, Rosalynne, Carson, and 2 on the way. She was th dear sister of Jane Schmitt (Dean).

During her life, she was a devoted member of PEO, DAR, Alpha Chi Omega and Mortar Board. She received a B.A. in Journalism from the University of Illinois. She was previously the editor of the Decatur Herald and Review and a 3rd and 4th grade teacher.

She had a quick smile, a bright mind, and took great joy in her family. She loved music, literature, and poetry. Her sensitive and loving spirit will be greatly missed.
