BS» Assistant Coach Eric Law

Mount Zion product and four-year letter winner Eric Law will continue his involvement with the Millikin University baseball program by moving into an assistant coach role during the 2007-08 season. One of the Big Blue’s best hitters to come through the program, Law will assist in all areas of the program and will work primarily with the hitters and outfielders.

Law wrapped up his career in a Big Blue uniform in 2007 with three career records – games played (149), at-bats (541), stolen bases (45). He hit .323 in four seasons with 175 hits, 25 doubles, five triples, 14 homeruns and 98 RBI. On the mound, he logged 12 appearances with nine starts and three complete games with one save. He struck out 19 in 52.1 innings of work.

A two-time All-CCIW selection, he earned second-team honors in his senior season after picking up first-team and All-Region honors in 2006. Millikin’s 2007 Pitcher of the Year, Law also earned the team’s Newcomer of the Year honor during his freshman season in 2004. He was also a CCIW Player of the Week selection during his career.

Law received a degree in Sports Management from Millikin in December 2007.
