From the Coach's Office
The women’s basketball team will get together for the first time during the week of September 3 to officially meet each other, welcome our new team members, begin planning for Little Hoopsters and other team events, and start to gear up for October 15, the first official day of practice.
So many activities fill our calendar and our hearts: working with the Park District and the Little Hoopsters program in September and October, the Coaches vs. Cancer tip-off tournament in November, the Harriett Crannell tournament in December, the Cruzin Classic tournament and cruise to the Bahamas in December, working with Special Olympics in January, “Think Pink” in February, and many, many other events and activities.
In the coming months we look forward to sharing much with you; we hope you will check our website often, will let us know if we can help you in anyway, and will continue to be a part of our marvelous adventures.
Yes indeed, the Millikin campus is buzzing with the sounds of students excited to be on campus, eager to learn, and ready to “wear the blue”!
We are blessed not only with his knowledge, but also with his humor, genuine concern for each student, and commitment to the “blue”. Coach Marshall has major responsibility for the post player development and conditioning. Four grandchildren: Andrew, Josh, Blake and Courtney keep Coach and Mrs. Marshall busy.

I can’t believe August and the start of the school year is finally here. The summer seems son long and our campus community can’t wait to be filled with the energy and enthusiasm of the student body! Move-in is complete, First Week and Opening Convocation are over, classes start this week, and the fall sport seasons are about to get underway.
Coach Marshall begins his 13th season with the women’s basketball program.
