Coach's Corner

The 2006-07 women’s basketball season has officially begun; the first practice on Sunday, October 15 was spirited and energetic; this team is going to be fun to coach and watch!

The theme selected for this year’s program is a quote from Larry Brown, long-time college and NBA coach:

“All great teams have two things in common:  defense and rebounding”.

Little Hoopsters

This week marks the fifth week of the six-week program.  The Little Hoopsters and our Big Blue women’s basketball players are learning a lot!  What a great experience for all involved.  Special thanks to the Decatur Park District for allowing us the opportunity to teach and learn; and to the parents and children for trusting us to make basketball fun!
