Coach's Corner

I am very happy with how we performed at Border Wars.  We had several athletes set all time personal bests, which is impressive considering the course is very challenging.  This is equally impressive knowing that we had our toughest week of training of the season leading up to the meet.  As a whole, we ran much faster than we did last year as well as having a few key break-out performances.   These break out performances suggest that the rest of the team is soon to follow suit.  I have a lot of confidence that we are on the right track with our training program.  The Millikin Classic coming up on Friday will be our last chance to race before the conference meet.  We are looking to step it up another notch.  Stay posted to find out what happens.
