Coach's Corner

The Millikin Classic proved to be a success.  As a team, we worked on getting out a little harder to prepare for the big races to come.  We ran very solid and I am pleased knowing that we had our highest team finish of the year for both the men and the women.  The next few weeks of training, we will be in our championship preparation phase.   There is no doubt that we will be heading into the post season with a lot of excitement and momentum.   With everything going according to plan so far, we will be eagerly anticipating the opportunity to compete at the CCIW championships.

Senior Elsie Riddle had a strong performance

while running 28:32 and placing 5th for Millikin. 

Elsie beat out Illinois Colleges’ 5th runner

to help secure 5th place in the team standings.
