Coach's Corner

The Brisman-Lundeen invite proved to be a big step in the right direction for the Big Blue Cross Country team.

We had a very tough week of training leading up to the meet, including an intense hill-series workout, and I knew going into the meet that we would not be fresh. However I was very proud of their effort and determination during the race. The meet was huge with over 700 competitors but we were very successful in maintaining our focus and remaining competitive for the duration of the race.  Besides developing our racing skills, we were also able to post 4 performances worthy of cracking the MU Top 25 All-Time list.  I am very excited to take the next step at the Border Wars meet on Oct 7th.
