 Debbie Kiick will take over in the coach’s box for the Big Blue softball team in 2008. A successful high school coach, Kiick inherits a program with a rich tradition. In her own words, Kiick describes the 2008 squad as a team “filled with talented and committed young women.” Integrating a class of strong new recruits, Kiick and the Big Blue are excited about what is to come in 2008 and are hoping to take Millikin’s traditionally strong program to even greater heights. In 2007, three Big Blue players earned All-CCIW honors including returner Kristina Bechtold and Millikin will hope to use Kiick’s inaugural season to get the program back to the CCIW Tournament for the 21st time in 23 years. |
