Debbie Kiick wrapped up her seventh year as the head volleyball coach at Millikin in 2007. She led the Big Blue to a 29-10 record and the first NCAA appearance of her career in 2005 when Millikin finished second in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW). Millikin went 21-14 in 2007. She was also named the head softball coach in June 2007.

In six seasons, Kiick’s players have garnered 17 all-conference honors, including the 2001 Freshman of the Year. She has also coached one All-Region selection and one All-American. Through just six seasons at the college level, Kiick has earned a spot as one of Division III volleyball's top coaches. Her record of 144-85 (.629) prior to the start of the 2007 season ranked her 48th overall in win-loss percentage.

Kiick, who took the helm in 2001 from 14-year veteran Linda Slagell, served as the head volleyball coach at Warrensburg-Latham High School for 11 seasons prior to joining Millikin’s coaching staff. At Warrensburg, she led the Cardinals to 275 wins and just 83 losses, earning the Macon County Volleyball Coach of the Year honor four times.

Not only did Kiick lead the Warrensburg-Latham High School volleyball team to success, she also guided the Warrensburg-Latham Middle School volleyball programs to seven state finals appearances in five years.
