Dr. Linda L. Collinsworth,

Dr. Collinsworth is Assistant Professor of Psychology in the Behavioral Sciences Department at Millikin University.  She is a graduate in Counseling Psychology from the University of Illinois, and has a graduate minor in Women’s Studies.  Dr. Colliinsworth has done extensive work both clinical and research in the areas of sexual harassment and sexual abuse, having participated in the evaluation of over 75 plaintiffs in sexual harassment litigation.  Dr. Collinsworth was graduate research fellow for 3 years with the Department of Defense Manpower Data Center assisting with their studies of sexual harassment in the military.  In addition, she was a member of the research team that examined gender bias in the Federal courts managed by the 8th Circuit.  In 2005, she was a research fellow with the Defense Universities Consortium appointed by the Army Research Institute to study the problems of sexual harassment and sexual assault in the U.S. military.  At Millikin University, her teaching includes courses in statistics, tests and measurement, social psychology, psychology of women, and sexual harassment in organizations.
