Attorney, author and producer Mark London will showcase his 60-minute documentary, "Shark Loves the Amazon," on Monday, March 4, at 7:30 p.m. in Albert Taylor Theatre in Shilling Hall. A question and answer session will follow the film presentation, which explores critical issues in the Amazon region, including the decimation of its rain forest. The event is Millikin's 2013 James W. Moore Lecture and is free and open to the public; no reservations or tickets required.

The James W. Moore Lecture was established in 1991 to honor the late James W. Moore of Decatur. Moore's children, Madeline and James "Mac" Moore, created the endowed fund to present speakers on campus who represent "innovative or progressive political or artistic views."
