364-page hardcover book of Millikin
history, "Millikin University: The First 100 Years, 1901-2001,"
written by Gerald Redford, dean emeritus of the College of Arts
and Sciences, and his wife, Barbara, former media relations coordinator
for the University, is on sale now. Both Redfords retired from Millikin in 1994.
Their book offers a behind-the-scenes, detailed look at Millikin
from its beginning through summer 2001 and includes more than 100
color and black and white photographs. Cost is $35.

A more recent
bit of history is also on sale now: the CD of "Lasting Good,"
the oratorio performed by the Millikin-Decatur Symphony Orchestra
and the University Choirs at the May 2001 kick off to Millikin's
Centennial Celebration. The CDs are ready to be shipped and sell
for $10.
