Eligible senior English majors with a grade point average of 3.7 in English studies and a 3.5 overall GPA qualify to seek Honors in English. Honors in English designates recognition of excellent academic achievement throughout the student's undergraduate English studies.
Each eligible graduating senior is invited to share a sample of excellent work at the Honors in English Award Showcase at the end of each semester.

Guidelines for Honors in English
Criteria for Honors in English consist of the following:
Seniors must have and maintain a 3.7 grade-point average in their English courses and a 3.5 grade-point average overall to receive Honors in English.
Honors Award Showcase Event
During finals week each semester, students graduating with Honors in English are invited to participate in a showcase reading. Each student presents a sample of excellent work completed in their English studies at Millikin.
