In the Fall of 2004 Millikin professors Nancy DeJoy and Laura Ledford are leading a full semester of studies in London. This program focuses on creating an integrated experience that explores the ways that diverse artistic forms (fiction, creative non-fiction, drama, critical review, travel writing and scriptwriting) are used to develop, interpret, create and communicate knowledge and understanding.
The Shakespeare and Woolf courses will take place in consecutive months. Scriptwriting will occur at the beginning and end of the semester. Our study of twentieth century plays in production and travel writing will span the entire semester. Each class is worth 3 credits for a combined total of 15 credits. See individual course descriptions for information about how each class is cross-listed.
