Chris Wood has worked extensively as a professional designer. He designed lighting and sound for corporate events such as ConAgra Foods and National Space Foundation. He has designed lights for the world premieres of The Rockae and Wizard of Wall Street and sound for. Recently Chris co-designed lights for Saint Johns Passion with Troupes, which was an interdepartmental exploration of the merging of Opera, Art, Theatre, and Technology in an intimate performance setting. As a lighting designer, Chris’s credits include Music Man (Indiana Festival Theatre), 25th Annual Putnum County Spelling Bee (Brown County Playhouse), Two Trains Running, Crowns, The Boys Next Door, Seven Guitars, Topdog/Underdog (John Beasley Theatre), Anything Goes, Hay Fever, Major Barbara, Stop Kiss, Blood Brothers (Lee Norvelle Center). As a sound designer, his credits include the world premiere of Charlie’s Wake, Ah Wilderness! and Comedy of Errors (Indiana Festival Theatre), Tosca and Der Freischütz (Des Moines Metro Opera), Last Night of Ballyhoo (Brown County Playhouse), Angels in America, As You Like It and Marat/Sade (Lee Norvelle Center).
