Fall Family Weekend Drive-in Movie

Bring your lawn chairs and blankets! Enjoy Shrek 3 on a 36’ outdoor movie screen. Free admission, popcorn, and soda provided by the University Center Board and Fall Family Weekend Committee.

Parents Association Meeting

Refreshments will be served at 9:00am followed by a Parents Association Meeting. All parents are welcomed to attend to find out ways to be involved at Millikin and how to continue to support their students.

Family Photographs

10:00am-1:00pm
Arrival Court, Millikin University Campus
Have your picture taken on Millikin’s beautiful campus. Miller’s Studio of Photography will be on campus to take group/family photographs. There is no sitting fee. Pictures will be available online to purchase.

14th Annual Oakwood Street Festival

This year’s festival includes a marketplace with local Decatur businesses, activities with Millikin’s student organizations, great food, and lots of entertainment. You can also catch Mike Da Roving Guy and his balloon art, along with Body Art by Margaret, among the many booths at the festival.

The festival will also feature musical entertainment by Millikin’s Jazz Bands, Afternoon Drive, and Rebirth of Cool. The headline performer will be Josh Casey, a comedian and juggler. Josh’s show is a comedy show that consists of juggling, improvisation and stunt-like maneuvers, all the while involving the audience either from their seats or by bringing someone on stage. You will not want to miss him!

Lunch: Alumni Association Fundraiser

Stop by the Millikin Alumni Association booth for a quick lunch! All proceeds go to support an alumni relations award presented to an outstanding graduating senior.

Collage Concert

7:30pm
Kirkland Fine Arts Center
This performance features most all of Millikin’s major music organizations, including Symphonic Wind Ensemble, String Arts Ensemble, Percussion Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble I, Vocal Jazz I, and University Choir. This event promises to be an evening full of wonderful music, showcasing some of Millikin’s top musical talent. For additional information, contact the School of Music at 217-434-6300.

Family Casino Night

9:00-11:00pm
Wornick Dining Hall – Richards Treat University Center
Bring the whole family and enjoy an evening of fun casino games. There will be a chance to receive some great prizes that will be raffled off every 20 minutes. It is free to everyone! The Fall Family Weekend committee will provide refreshments. No tickets required.

Men’s Soccer Game

Soccer Fields
Come out and see a great game of Millikin Men’s Soccer and show your Big Blue Spirit! Watch as the “Big Blue” takes on Elmhurst College here at home.
