Haiku Magazine Profile: Raw Nervz

 

Millikin University students have researched various magazines publishing haiku and haiku related poetry.

This is a profile of Raw Nervz magazine, written by Elisabeth Kreydich from the Fall 2002 Haiku Writing Roundtable class.

Submission Guidelines:

The next deadline should be February 15th and then May 15th, and submissions are welcome from subscribers and non-subscribers.

Please enclose Canadian Stamps, cash or IRC, no envelope required.

 

Raw Nervz haiku magazine publishes Haiku, Senryu, Tanka, Renga, Haibun, eyeku and Sequences.

Any cluster of themes and ideas seem acceptable to write on, in this spastic collection of usually about fifty Haiku writers. Changing fonts, a contemporary, scattered layout and multiple genres are accepted.

The issue comes complete with bookmarks that carry printed haiku and various words, slogans and ads.
It is a quarterly publication that draws a vast group of writers of limitless style and innovation.
